The Champions Course at White River State Park has been designed to challenge and reward true cross country runners in championship competitions. The course features numerous tactical opportunities including a banked turn, deceptive hills, switchback turns, a chicane and varied surface conditions packed within an international style 2-kilometer loop. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis with all of its amenities, the course caters to spectators by utilizing the landscape's unique features to create North America’s first cross country arena. With a grand opening pending for 2014, this unique and distinctive venue enables cross country to be packaged as true sport entertainment product as development up-grades come into play over the next few years.

The course was designed by Coach Greg Harger and is maintained by the Indiana Invaders.
